The Namibia Institute for democracy was present at the Kasi Vibe festival which is held quarterly every year. The festival gives a platform to entrepreneurship, innovation, youth empowerment, brand building and connecting different people from all walks of life to showcase ideas and business.
NID used this platform to reach the younger generation to raise awareness around the work and impact that civil society organizations do by distributing the publication “The guide to civil society, 3rd edition”. The First Lady of Namibia, Mrs. Monica Geingos visited the festival on the second day and paid the NID’s stall a visit along with other youth organizations like the Young Achievers.
The guide to the civil society 3rd was launched on the 13th February 2019 at the House of Democracy. The Guide to Civil Society is freely available. You can download a digital copy here & HSF. The hard copy is available at the NID office at House Democracy, 70-72 Dr. Frans Indongo Street, Windhoek West.
