Governance in times of COVID-19

NID just hosted another online public discussion forum in partnership with Hanns Seidel Foundation, Namibia Commumity Broadcasters Network and College of the Arts. The topic of the discussion was 'Governance in times of COVID-19'. The overall objective of the event was to examine the effects that the pandemic has had on Namibia's governance, as well as on our relations with other actors in the international system. The guest speakers this time around were Mr. Phanuel Kapaama, who represented the University of Namibia, as well as Mrs. Geraldine Ithana from the United Nations Development prgramme. In order to comply with the social distancing regulations set up by the government, the event was streamed live on Facebook, as well as on different community-based radio stations.
