The Namibia Insitute for Democracy was present at the convention against Corruption and the Implementation Review Mechanism hosted by the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC) and United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) Civil Society(CSO) which was held on the 8th -12th of April 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The purpose of the convention was to review the implementation mechanisms used to assist states parties & civil societies in their respective implementations. It provides the states parties & civil societies with information on measures taken by states parties in implementing and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so. It also helps states parties to identify and substantiate specific needs for technical assistance, to promote and facilitate the provision of such assistance.
