NID and the Hanns Seidel Foundation Namibia recently hosted ‘Constituency Week’ for the Samora Machel Constituency.

The overall objective of this initiative was to bring elected Councillors closer to the communities they serve. The initiative further aimed to explore ways that the government, the private sector and civil society can work together to promote social, economic and political development in Namibia. ‘Constituency Week’ was a 3-day initiative which included an open day, capacity-building training and project site visits.
