NID conducted a Civic Education Programme for learners at M&K Gertze and Dr. Lemmer secondary schools in Rehoboth. The main objective was to empower learners who are part of student leadership bodies within their schools. It was interesting to observe that the participants were eager to learn more about their role, rights and responsibilities as citizens.
