Just like last year, we are continuing our civic education workshops for school learners in the new year. We are working together with five different schools in Windhoek and are in the process of expanding our programme to the Hardap region, more specifically to Rehoboth.
The programme consists of three separate sessions of two hours each in which we cover a variety of topics related to politics and the political system of Namibia like:
- The Rule of Law
- The Namibian Constitution and basic rights
- The three branches of government/Separation of powers
- Elections
- Advocacy
