On the 29th - 30th of September 2020, NID hosted a civic education workshop for various youth groups in Khorixas. The overall objective of the programme was to educate young people about the Namibian Constitution, our governance process and structures, the different types of elections in Namibia, as well as the role, rights and responsibilities of citizens. The workshop sessions were attended by a total of 30 young people from Khorixas and surrounding areas.
