NID recently hosted a Civic Education Boot Camp in partnership with the Hanns Seidel Foundation. The overall objective of the Boot Camp was to deepen school-going learners' knowledge on democracy, the rule of law, good governance, elections in Namibia, as well as advocacy and lobbying. The event, which took place at the Hodygos training center in Okahandja, was attended by learners from Hage Geingob, Andreas Shipena, Khomastura and Jacob Marenga secondary schools.
