81 observers, 9 regions, 22 constituencies and 2 national elections

During the recent Presidential and National Assembly Elections in November 81 election observers trained by NID monitored the voting process on the ground. They were deployed in nine of Namibia's regions: Kharas, Khomas, Erongo, Ohangwena , Omaheke, Omusati, Oshikoto, Otjozondjupa, and finally Zambezi.

In those nine regions they covered a total of 22 contituencies: Khomasdal, John Pandeni, Karasburg, Endola, Katima Mulilo Urban, Katutura East, Katutura Central, Grootfontein, Karibib, Moses // Garoeb, Okahandja, Okahao, Okorukambe, Ongwediva, Oshikunde, Samora Machel, Swakopmund, Tobias Hainyeko, Tsumeb, Walvis bay, Windhoek East and Windhoek West.
