The nationwide Kurt-Böhme Speaker Competition took place at DHPS in August, where young speakers from different Namibian schools proved their talents

The ninth and eleventh graders made it to the jury - consisting of Dr. Andreas Götze ( Hitradio Namibia ), Naita Hishoono ( German Embassy Windhoek ), Erika von Wietersheim (journalist and author) and Jasko Rust ( Namibia Institute for Democracy ) - anything but easy. Congratulations to our eloquent DHPS students Maike Metzger (grade 11) and Gabriela Ritzdorf (grade 9) for the first place!
