The Namibia Institute for Democracy (NID), founded in 1991, implements civic education, civil society development, socio-political survey and research, and anti-corruption programmes in Namibia.

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that commenced on 25 November 2021. NID in collaboration with the British High Commission and Regain Trust conducted a gender sensitivity workshop with the Windhoek City Police. The workshop provided knowledge sharing skills and tools needed to effectively address gender-based violence in our communities.
