Effects of COVID-19 on Education
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on Namibia's education system. NID recently hosted another public discussion forum to examine the effects of the state of emergency and lockdown on primary, secondary and tertiary education. Our esteemed speakers for this event were Ms. Seno Namwandi, who is the Director of Intellectual Property at the International University of Management, as well as the President of the Student Union of Namibia, Mr. Simon Amunime. The guests shared some insightful ideas on how the country can move forward with regards to providing all Namibians with an opportunity and access to education. The event was streamed live on radio and Facebook to comply with social distancing regulations.
